TOPRO Step is a mechanical product without the use of electricity. It consists of a handrail and a handle that is pushed along the handrail. In case of dizziness or leg instability, the handle supports until the next step can be safely taken. TOPRO Step provides the extra support and security needed to continue using the stairs without assistance.

In our design process, we have focused on ensuring that the TOPRO Step stair aid integrates as a natural part of your home. For this reason, we use attractive and sustainable materials such as nature-anodized aluminum and stainless steel. The handle can be easily folded when not in use. This way, the AssiStep does not take up space on the stairs and does not obstruct others using the stairs.
Meanwhile, TOPRO Step is used by users of all ages, illnesses, and/or injuries. These include seniors, children, stroke patients, individuals with injuries, neurological diseases, and users with long-term cancer illnesses. All users have one thing in common: they need some support and security to continue to be able to climb stairs independently.
Straight or winding staircase?
TOPRO Step can be easily adapted to most stairs, regardless of the angle, wall material, or the top and bottom of the stairs. The stair climbing aid can be installed in just a few hours – usually no renovation or building permit required.
TOPRO Step Usage

The most common way to push the handle is with both hands on the left and right of the handle.
When you move the handle downwards, it can be supportive to grip the handrail with one hand.
TOPRO Step can be pushed both upwards and downwards with one hand. We recommend placing the hand in the middle of the handle when pushing or moving it up or down.
When descending, some users prefer to grip the side of the handle with one hand. This may make it easier to tilt the handle downwards when it needs to be moved downwards.
