"Without the TOPRO Step stair climber, my wife and I would no longer be able to sleep upstairs together" - Edmund (77)

Contents

Edmund uses the stair climber after his stroke. He has lived all his life in a typical manor house (Trønderlån) in the Tröndelag region of Norway and the last thing he wants is to have to move. After working with his wife to make the house barrier-free with the help of various aids for stroke patients, such as the TOPRO Step stair climber, he is now able to cope with everyday life within his own four walls.

Fortunately, I can continue to live at home - that's very important to me.

 - Edmund (77)

Edmund (77) lives in a typical "Trønderlån", a typical manor house in the Norwegian region of Tröndelag, near a wooded area a few kilometers from Snåsa. There is a lot of space between the neighbors here, but the desire to stay in his house is strong.

In the past, Edmund used to take his dogs for long walks in the woods and fields. Unfortunately, his health has made this more difficult over time. Edmund suffered a stroke 10 years ago and therefore has difficulties with balance and mobility both inside and outside his home.

"Fortunately, I can continue to live at home - that's very important to me."

At the time we visit Edmund and his wife, he has been using the TOPRO Step stair climber for about a year and has high praise for the stair climber.

"We've had a lot of people in the community looking at the TOPRO Step stair climber at our place, as I was the first in SnĂĄsa to install it at home. Since it was installed in our home, there are now more TOPRO Step installations in SnĂĄsa. When I think about it, I am happy. The TOPRO Step stair climber is such a clever and great product!"

The experience that Edmund shares with us is extremely positive. He goes up and down the stairs 3-4 times a day and remains active. Without the TOPRO Step stair climber, he and his wife would no longer be able to sleep together upstairs.

"I couldn't have done without the TOPRO Step stair climber on the stairs. I have difficulty with balance, so it's a great help to have something solid and safe in front of me, especially on the way down."
